Our Story

How Heritora Came to Be

Heritora was founded in Hat Yai after one of our founders spent several months helping an elderly relative locate and make sense of the documents accumulated over a lifetime. The process was not complicated in principle — but without a clear starting point, it felt overwhelming. That experience made one thing clear: there was a need for a calm, educational resource that could sit alongside families, not rush them.

We opened our doors in Songkhla Province with three services built around what families actually ask for: understanding how estate processes work in general, finding and organising their own documents, and having a space to record the stories that give those documents meaning. Nothing is more or less important than the other — people come to us with different needs, and we meet them where they are.

Today, Heritora serves individuals and families from Hat Yai and across the surrounding region, as well as those who join us remotely from elsewhere in Thailand. We remain a small, focused team — and we intend to stay that way. The work we do calls for attention and patience, and those are not things that scale well without care.

Our Mission

What We Are Here to Do

We exist to make estate and family heritage topics approachable, organised, and meaningful — without pressure, promises, or jargon.

Clarity Over Complexity

We translate complicated processes into plain, honest language that anyone can follow — regardless of prior experience with legal or administrative matters.

Boundaries We Respect

We are an educational and organisational service. We do not practise law or provide formal advice. When formal professional help is needed, we say so clearly and help you understand what to look for.

Dignity in Every Conversation

Estate and family topics often arrive with emotion attached. We hold every conversation with the care and patience those moments deserve.

How We Work

Our Standards of Practice

Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is held in strict confidence. We do not share, store, or forward personal details without your explicit consent.

Clear Scope

We are clear about what we do and what we do not do. When a situation calls for a lawyer, accountant, or other professional, we say so plainly and do not overstate our role.

Ongoing Accuracy

Our learning materials are reviewed regularly against publicly available official sources to keep information current and relevant for families in Thailand.

Personal Approach

No two families arrive at the same starting point. Every service is shaped around your situation, your documents, and your pace — not a fixed script.

Data Responsibility

We handle personal data in accordance with Thai PDPA requirements. We collect only what is needed and keep it only as long as necessary for the service you have requested.

Feedback Welcome

We ask for feedback after every engagement. It helps us improve our materials, refine our approach, and understand what families genuinely find helpful.

About Our Approach

Estate Organisation in Southern Thailand — What Heritora Stands For

For many families in Hat Yai and the wider Songkhla region, the first time estate matters come into focus is also one of the more demanding periods in family life. Documents need to be found. Processes need to be understood. And through all of it, families are trying to make thoughtful decisions about things that matter deeply.

Heritora occupies a particular place in that landscape. We are not lawyers, and we do not provide formal professional advice. What we provide is clear, reliable educational material, practical organisational tools, and a genuinely calm space for families to work through what they know and what they still need to learn.

Our document inventory service has helped families across Songkhla Province move from a state of scattered paperwork to a coherent, labelled record they can maintain themselves. The learning series has given individuals the vocabulary and orientation they needed to approach formal advisers with confidence. And the Lasting Memories Workshop has helped people record things that no official document can capture.

These are quiet, steady contributions — and we think they matter. Heritora is here for the long term, and we approach every family's situation with that same sense of patience.
